Vein Disease
Symptomatic venous insufficiency is a common medical condition. There are more than 20 million Americans who suffer from venous reflux. An estimated 40 percent of women and 25 percent of men will experience the symptoms of varicose veins. Not only is venous disease often under-diagnosed, many patients suffering from venous insufficiency are told there is nothing that can be done other than wearing compression stockings. Today, you no longer need to suffer with venous insufficiency. Treatments of vein disease and conditions vary from person to person, and largely depend on the results of an ultrasound exam. Advanced techniques have eliminated the need for the painful stripping and ligation procedures previous generations endured.
Novi Vein specializes in the treatment of varicose veins and spider veins, including facial veins. We are also able to advise our patients on treatment options for a variety of venous and other vascular conditions such as deep venous thrombosis (DVT), post-thrombotic syndrome, chronic venous insufficiency and peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
